Classifying an AI Incident: Impact Matrix

Credit unions are increasingly integrating artificial intelligence into their operations, from fraud detection and loan underwriting to member chatbots and anti-money laundering (AML) screening. While these systems create significant operational value, they also introduce a new class of security incidents that existing incident response (IR) plans may not adequately address. Use the following matrix to classify AI security incidents by severity and determine the appropriate response level. 

Not all AI security incidentsnts are created equal and how you respond could change with the type of event.
